Jumping Day

I jumped Missy today and she did really well. The last jump was really good so I quit jumping so that it would be on a good note. Then I took a mini trailride through the woods and rode in the hay field. Then I untacked and let her eat grass.

Jump Standards

My dad and I took on the project of making standards for jumps. My dad made something like jump cups and I helped make the standards.

Western Day

Missy did totally awesome yesterday! I rode western and worked on reining. Missy listened to every cue. We'd done some reining before but yesterday was the first day that we did only that. Usually dad leads me around once before he lets go of Missy but we didn't even do that. I worked on walking and a little bit of trot. We went into the edge of the woods too. Our one cat was sitting there and Missy scared him but he didn't scare her. Near the end I got of then mounted by myself, took her around once then got off. She did really well and I hope every ride goes that well. Missy looks great under both english and western tack and I'll have to get a picture of both. Also Maria if you think my braiding is good enough and you want me to help you by being your groom if you show I'd be glad to.

I got to ride Missy on wednesday. She did really well under english seat! She looked great and did great! She's also been doing well with her flyspray and with her whithers being touched.

Maryland

On our way-

We went to maryland to check out a large pony named tux, and also just for a little fun. I was hoping to find a companion for Missy and a jumper for me to ride. I liked him well enough but I don't think I'm interested in buying. I did several jumps which was fun. Some of which he didn't jump others he did. My dad took a couple pictures and so did my mom but of a different subject!

Missy's Flyspray

Missy has been doing GREAT with her flyspray. I've been spraying a little on then rubbing a little on and she's doing pretty good!

I rode again and Missy was still good. She is coming into heat though so I'm going to give her a few days off becasue she's been such a good horsie!
